About the event
Pahmusa (Pan African Historical Museum, USA) and the wider community will commemorate and honor the Legacy and Life of Benjamin Swan by acknowledging and celebrating his dedication to public service. No service exceeds the one that inspires future generations to champion a more just and equitable society.
The Legacy and Life program will occur at the prestigious White Lion venue, 1500 Main Street Tower Square on November 9, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Complimentary refreshments will be served. An exclusive exhibit will be held at Pahmusa. It will showcase Swan's achievements and his positive impact on the Springfield community.
Pahmusa is "Where History Comes Alive." In line with our dedication to preserving and sharing our history, we will establish a permanent installation for patrons and visitors to engage with and gain knowledge about the Legacy and Life of Benjamin Swan.
